Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a licensed physician to provide primary medical care in a team-based setting. The physician will work in accordance with Sea Mar's mission and guidelines, collaborating with staff and the Medical Director to improve patient care.

The role includes preventive health activities and education for patients and community groups. The physician will prescribe medications within prescriptive authority and participate in immunization and disease prevention

Qualifications

• Licensed MD or DO with current Washington license.
• ACGME or AOA residency completed; board certification in appropriate specialty or actively seeking.
• Current DEA certificate.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
• Prior community health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care as part of a care team for Sea Mar patients.
• Prescribe and dispense medications within the prescriptive authority.
• Participate in preventive health programs and immunization initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer to improve patient care.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Care for patients in nursing homes or other institutions when appropriate.
