Job summary

North Shore Community Health in Massachusetts is seeking a General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care within a community health setting. You will work under the Dental Director, delivering preventative and restorative services while promoting optimal oral health and culturally competent care.

Applicants should hold a Doctorate in Dentistry (DMD/DDS), be licensed in Massachusetts, and have 1–2 years of practice.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual in Spanish/Portuguese and English strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience with Electronic Dental Records (EDR).
• Maintains professional standards and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to scheduled or walk-in patients.
• Diagnose and treat dental disease and manage oral health conditions.
• Examine patients using x-rays and dental instruments for accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain documentation in Electronic Dental Record and communicate with staff.
• Follow NSCH policies, including emergencies, no-shows, and scheduling protocols.
• Contribute to quality improvement and participate in team meetings.
• Collaborate with other providers and participate in health promotion activities.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and improve care.
