Job summary

Harvesters seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead financial planning, reporting, and risk management from the Corporate Headquarters. You will partner with the CEO, SLT, and the Board to steward resources and advance the organization’s mission.

The role is on-site, reporting to the President & CEO, with responsibility for budgeting, governance, compliance, and long-term sustainability in a large regional food bank network.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership in nonprofit or complex organizations.
• Experience partnering with executives, boards, and external stakeholders.
• CPA credential highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Oversee treasury, investments, cash management, and reporting.
• Provide governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance oversight.
• Support the CEO and Board with strategic financial insight.
• Develop financial literacy and resource stewardship across the org.
