Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for an on-site role in Jacksonville, FL. You will oversee daily operations and financial functions, focusing on delinquency management, rent collection, and overall property cash flow under the Community Manager’s supervision.

The position requires at least a high school diploma, with preferred 2 years in housing and familiarity with LIHTC or HUD programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years in housing industry.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately for all residents and applicants.
• Reconcile daily accounts receivable and monitor bad debt.
• Assist with budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident and non-current accounts; bill back utilities where applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and maintain organized records.
• Conduct unit inspections and post move-out charges and refunds.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure policy compliance and fair housing guidelines.
