Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. invites applications for a Senior Mission Data Systems Engineer to support the 23rd EWS, 350th Spectrum Warfare Group, at Eglin AFB, FL.

The role focuses on developing and testing mission data to defeat enemy radar and missile systems, enhancing aircrew survivability. You will work with EW engineers on MD configuration control, validation planning, and post-test analysis, with travel as needed to domestic and international sites.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical/engineering discipline; OR 12 years' relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
• Ten years' applicable experience is required.
• Must have the potential ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.
• Applicants must have a working knowledge of computer systems and an understanding of Windows-based personal computers and Microsoft Office software and possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Must possess and maintain a DoW TS/SCI Clearance (required at hire)

Responsibilities

• Conduct EW research, MD development and MD testing.
• Support EW system programming/reprogramming; coordinate programming/reprogramming requirements; prepare validation and verification test plans; organize and participate in MD configuration control boards.
• Assist with collection, recording, and post-test analysis of data generated during MD testing.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required (US passport or ability to obtain one)

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Mission Data Systems Engineer to join a team to assist the 23rd EWS, 350th Spectrum Warfare Group, 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The mission of the 350 SWW is to develop and test mission data (MD) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation.

As a Senior Mission Data Systems Engineer, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

• The successful candidate will conduct appropriate EW research, MD development and MD testing.
• The successful candidate will support EW system programming/reprogramming, work with EW system engineers to coordinate programming/reprogramming requirements, prepare validation and verification test plans, and organize and participate in MD configuration control boards.
• The successful candidate will assist with the collection, recording, and post-test analysis of data generated during MD testing.
• The successful candidate may be required to travel, both domestic and international, so possessing a US passport or having an ability to obtain one is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred.
• Highly desirable (but not required) attributes include previous experience in RF integration, EM spectrum management, antenna design, and digital signal processing.
• Also desired (but not required) is knowledge of EW weapons systems development, test and evaluation, and systems engineering.
