Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced systems engineer to design and develop systems supporting national security objectives for DoW. You will translate operational needs into technical specs and help modernize DoW capabilities.

The role requires 3+ years on DoD/aerospace programs, the ability to work independently and in teams, and a secret clearance. A BS is required; MS and ASEP are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience engineering on a DoD, national security, or Aerospace program.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Science, or Technology field.
• Master’s degree in an Engineering, Science, or Technology field (Nice If You Have)
• INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) Certification (Nice If You Have)

Responsibilities

• Apply your understanding of the customer’s environment to design and develop systems that support national security objectives
• Translate real world operational needs into clear technical specifications
• Shape and modernize systems for the Department of War
• Evaluate, refine, and advance DoW capabilities
