Job summary

GBA Builders is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Mission Critical team. This hands-on role leads field operations on complex projects such as data centers and telecom facilities, prioritizes safety and quality, and builds strong relationships with project partners.

The successful candidate will travel regularly, manage subcontractors, coordinate with project managers and inspectors, and drive projects to meet schedule and budget while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of field supervision or superintendent experience.
• Mission critical, data center, or telecom facilities preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day field operations on data center projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel.
• Maintain a Safety-First culture and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, designers, and inspectors.
• Implement and monitor quality control and QA programs.
• Review construction documents, shop drawings, product data, and test reports.
• Coordinate and supervise M.O.P. planning and execution.
• Participate in preconstruction planning and site logistics reviews.
• Maintain daily reports, weekly updates, and jobsite photos.
• Proactively identify issues and provide solutions to maintain schedule and budget.
