Michels Power, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for its Mission Critical substation group. You will manage projects from proposal through profitable completion, with a focus on safety and quality. Travel to various sites is required as projects span multiple locations.

Ideal candidates have experience in substation/utility projects, strong leadership, and skilled coordination with cross-functional teams. This role offers challenging, meaningful work within a leading energy contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Substation/Utility projects, with emphasis on Mission Critical/Hyperscale markets.
• Ability to travel and commit to long-term onsite project assignments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with job cost tracking and estimating software is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to work with project teams, field personnel, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a phase of a large complex project or multiple medium-sized projects from proposal to client sign-off.
• Ensure safety performance and budgeted profitability across projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field teams to meet project milestones.
• Communicate progress and risks to clients and internal stakeholders.
