Job summary

General Dynamics - IT in Chantilly, VA seeks a Software Developer to drive mission-critical SharePoint work for government projects, including on-prem and cloud transitions.

You will build sites, pages, and Power BI reports; provide end-user support; and help migrate and clean up SharePoint environments.

Requires 4+ years' experience, a Bachelor's degree, DoD 8570 IAT II (Security+ CE), ITIL Foundation, and ability to obtain Belgian SOFA clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; additional years of experience can substitute for degree requirement.
• 4+ years of related experience in software development or SharePoint environments.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE) required; ITIL Foundation certification expected within 90 days if not certified.

Responsibilities

• SharePoint Site & Page Development: liaison with stakeholders, build custom solutions, and create pages, lists, libraries, and web parts; test code and ensure SDLC compliance.
• End-User Support: manage access control and SharePoint permissions; maintain end-user and back-end documentation.
• SharePoint Migration & Cleanup: support transition of unclassified network; maintain and improve classified network SP; implement SP policies.
