Job summary

Sigma Defense is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team at Creech AFB, NV. This position involves supporting MQ-9 communications systems and requires several technical skills including BGP and OSPF protocols.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in network administration. A Security+, CCNP certification, and an active TS/SCI security clearance are required. The position offers a salary range of $135,000 - $165,000 annually and includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in network administration with at least 5 years as a network engineer.
• Experience with BGP, EIGRP, OSPF protocols, layer 2 switching, multicast routing, DMVPN tunnels, and IPsec.
• Ability to provide situation reports and assist with system upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Support escalated troubleshooting for the Centralized Network Operations Center.
• Perform root cause analysis and ensure high network availability.
• Monitor network performance, integrity, and security.

Skills

Network administration experience

Ability to explain complex technical issues

Ability to lift equipment weighing about 30 lbs

Education

Security+, CCNP, or equivalent certification
