Job summary

NS2 Mission in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure supporting Intelligence Community customers.

You will collaborate with engineers, system administrators, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, improve performance, and ensure secure connectivity across mission-critical environments. A TS/SCI clearance with an FSP is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and architecture principles.
• Experience with network monitoring, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Experience planning and implementing network upgrades and integrations.
• Ability to develop technical documentation and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing communications.
• Develop architectures and configuration plans for integrating new systems and services.
• Evaluate network performance using diagnostic tools and identify reliability improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Plan and execute network upgrades with minimal operational impact.
• Assess proposed modifications and provide technical recommendations.
• Develop technical documentation and SOPs to support operations.
• Prepare engineering documentation for architecture reviews and approvals.
• Provide routine operational support and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative networking solutions.
