Job summary

AJANTA CONSULTING, LLC in Sardis, MS is seeking a Light Truck Driver to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between locations. The role requires operating trucks under 1.5 tons, loading/unloading, and performing basic maintenance per EM 385-1-1.

The job entails loading, unloading, and heavy manual tasks, along with ensuring safety and completing work orders. A valid license or CDL and 3+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver license or CDL required.
• Minimum three years related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate pickup, utility, and stake body trucks under 1 1/2 tons to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers to and from various locations within Government reservations and on public highways per EM 385-1-1.
• Load or unload truck with or without helpers.
• Make minor mechanical repairs and keep truck in good working order.
• Carry materials and supplies, build simple objects, and perform heavy manual labor as needed.
• Use common hand tools such as picks, shovels, tamps, wheelbarrows, chainsaws, rakes, and brooms.
• Clean equipment, buildings, recreation facilities, structures, and grounds.
• Maintain and repair fencing as required.
• Ensure work orders are completed and returned to management.
