Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. seeks an Interior Designer to join our Interiors Discipline, supporting our Mission Critical / Data Center practice. The role develops interior concepts, produces design docs, and renders high-quality visuals while coordinating with architecture and MEP teams on complex infrastructure.

Candidate should have 3+ years in interior design, proficiency with Revit/Enscape/Adobe CS, and strong communication. This is an on-site Chicago role with visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior architecture or interior design (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of professional experience in interior design or related field.
• Proficiency with design and documentation tools (Revit, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong organizational and communication skills; collaboration with stakeholders.
• Interest in pursuing interior design licensure or relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support technical aspects of interior projects from assessment through coordinated solutions and documentation.
• Prepare detailed interior design documentation and specifications for delivery.
• Develop interior design deliverables including space planning, finish concepts, and FF&E.
• Create presentation materials to communicate concepts to teams and clients.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to coordinate interior scope.
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure design alignment across deliverables.
