Job summary

Monte Sano Research Corporation (MSRC) seeks a Hardware/Electronics Design Engineer in Huntsville, AL, to advance missile-system R&D. You will design FPGA-based systems, PCBs, and mixed-signal circuitry, collaborating with software and systems teams to deliver complete embedded solutions.

Required are a BSEE, 2+ years in embedded hardware, and experience with Verilog/VHDL and firmware interfacing. Candidates should be U.S. citizens able to obtain an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience with embedded systems described.
• Experience with Verilog, VHDL or similar hardware description languages required.
• Firmware development experience interfacing with hardware components expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test FPGA-based systems.
• Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Use CAD for schematic capture and PCB layouts.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineering teams.
• Support full lifecycle of embedded systems from requirements to deployment.
• Prepare and present technical documentation.
