Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Fiber Engineer to design and support fiber and copper network infrastructure across production facilities and launch sites. You will help install, test and maintain cabling for real-time operations of Falcon, Dragon, Starship and related missions.

Requirements include a BICSI RCDD or STEM degree, 2+ years in industrial electrical engineering with power systems, and experience with LAN/WAN/WIFI/LTE cabling plus AutoCAD/Revit skills.

Qualifications

• BICSI RCDD or STEM degree required.
• 2+ years in industrial electrical engineering and medium/high voltage power.
• Experience designing/building telecom systems incl. LAN/WAN/WIFI/LTE cabling.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA and IBC standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, improve and troubleshoot fiber/copper network infrastructure.
• Coordinate downtime with maintenance and production teams.
• Drive telecom projects using design changes and monitoring data.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and track load/capacity.
• Oversee material procurement and contract management.
