Mission Critical Due Diligence & Planning Program Manager - (193462)

Primary Responsibilities

We are looking for a Due Diligence and Planning Program Manager with experience in site selection, land development due diligence, and master planning. The role leads a multi‑disciplinary program delivering site selection, fatal flaw analysis, due diligence, and master planning projects for mission‑critical datacenters and other large technology facilities.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain program tools for governance, staff onboarding, forecasting, KPI tracking, resource allocation, and hiring.
  • Develop and maintain program templates, tools, and collaboration sites for consistent and efficient program delivery.
  • Direct project staff and lead site selection, due diligence, and master planning efforts as a program leader and/or project manager.
  • Conduct complex process engineering for projects and proposals, collect, assimilate, and present data in reports, and lead preparation of planning documents, engineering plans, and specifications for major land development projects.
  • Employ strong oral and written communication skills, including leadership and organizational skills.
  • Develop and implement client engagement and client management planning to grow business with industrial key clients.
  • Hold overall accountability of the program to clients, internal leadership, and project stakeholders.
  • Track and implement strong internal business management skills, including proposal/fee development, resource and cost tracking, and QA/QC processes.
  • Travel up to 30%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS degree related to the position.
  • 10+ years of combined experience in engineering or project management.
  • 2+ years of program management.
  • 5+ years of project management.
  • Significant land development experience.
  • Experience in site selection and due diligence.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary projects that include civil engineering, entitlements, utility consulting, environmental permitting, and subcontractor management.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
  • Staff management and general leadership skills.
  • Strong internal business management skills.
Desired Qualifications
  • Proven track record of program management.
  • Proficiency with online communication and collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, Chime, WebEx, Skype).
  • Certified project/program management professional, licensed professional engineer or certified planner (highly desired).
  • Current relationships with due diligence professionals (A/E firms, general contractors, developers).
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or closely related field.
  • Program management experience in one of the following:
    • Minimum 3 years of program management as deputy to Program Manager for programs ≥ $200M capital value.
    • Minimum 5 years of program management as Project Manager for programs ≥ $200M capital value.
    • Minimum 10 years of project management directing multi‑disciplinary teams for at least 2 projects each with ≥ $50M capital value.
    • Strong leadership skills building cohesive team culture and managing team members in various locations.
    • Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to client executives.
    • Experience implementing projects using collaborative delivery methods (Design‑Build, DB‑P, CMAR).
    • Familiarity with PMIS, CMIS, scheduling, cost control, document management, risk management, asset management, dashboard analytics.
