Job summary

D&G Solutions seeks a Data Integration Engineer on-site at Scott AFB, IL to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and APIs for DoD data ecosystems. You will enable data-driven decision making and support COP development across the Joint Petroleum Enterprise.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL/Python, and experience with Spark/Kafka and cloud platforms. A Secret clearance is required with TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and Python.
• Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines using Apache Spark, Kafka, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience designing and implementing data integration solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Active Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines that ingest data into Databricks and support integration with enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support COP development and related data integration efforts.
• Review and analyze DoD data sources to identify opportunities for integration and enhancement.
• Design scalable data ingestion processes transforming source data for enterprise use and API development.
• Develop, publish, and maintain APIs providing standardized access to enterprise data.
• Collaborate on metadata governance, data dictionaries, and data governance artifacts.
