Job summary

Capital Solutions Group is seeking a Sr. Cloud DevOps professional to join an engaged team at Ft. Meade, MD. The role emphasizes implementing and testing advanced security techniques, securing software, and contributing to architecture with on-call duties.

Required are TS/SCI with polygraphs, along with hands-on experience in Java (Maven) and Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS. The position involves secure coding practices and collaboration across mission-focused groups.

Qualifications

• Willingness to support on-call status rotated across the team.
• Familiarity with Git, Kubernetes, Docker, or comparable DevOps experience.
• Familiarity with Spring Framework/Spring Batch.
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with test frameworks such as Junit and Mockito.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as ReactJS.
• Familiarity with agency data flow formats and standards.
• Familiarity with analyst toolkit applications.
• Recent work experience with Java (Maven) with some Python.
• Recent work experience with streaming data frameworks (Flink, Spring Cloud Data Flow).

Responsibilities

• Implements, tests, and operates advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture.
• Performs ongoing security testing and code review to improve software security.
• Troubleshoots and debugs issues that arise.
• Provides engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Contributes to all levels of the architecture and maintains technical documentation. Consults team members on secure coding practices.
• Develops a familiarity with new tools and best practices. There is an on-call component to this.
