IBM in Chantilly, VA is seeking a hands-on Data Solutions Engineer to transform messy data into actionable insights and deliver usable outputs in mission environments.

You will work across data, systems, and analysis to build models, develop pipelines, and ensure quality in secure, on-site settings in the Washington DC metro area. US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance are required on day 1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent, with 5+ years in data science or applied data roles
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency for data exploration and transformation
• Experience building data pipelines and processing workflows across datasets

Responsabilités

• Work directly with raw and incomplete data, structuring, processing, and using it effectively
• Develop and apply models and analytical methods to identify meaningful patterns and signals
• Build and support data pipelines for consistent, repeatable processing across datasets
• Integrate internal and external models into working systems and adjust them as data changes
• Operate effectively in secure environments with tradeoffs and constraints
