Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Redmond, WA is seeking an Application Software Engineer to develop mission critical software used across Starlink operations. You will own software engineering and product development, building platforms that enable rapid build and reuse of Starship manufacturing systems and supporting the world’s largest satellite constellation.

The team values fairness, respect, and collaboration; aerospace experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or 2+ years of software experience.
• 1+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Experience with Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java or similar.
• Experience building single-page web applications.
• Familiar with CI/CD and version control.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across the company.
• Create new applications to improve operations.
• Build prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Deep dive into user problems to craft efficient solutions.
• Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews.
