Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Solution Architect to support NIWC Atlantic and MCSC IT systems in a on-site Stafford, VA role. Requires active DoD TS/SCI clearance and up to 15% travel.

Salary ranges from $135,000 to $143,000 annually, depending on location and experience. Responsibilities include bridging mission requirements with secure enterprise IT, guiding solution architectures, and collaborating with PMs, RTEs, and Enterprise Architects to align technical

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field (engineering, mathematics, CS, information technology or information systems) with 10+ years of relevant experience; OR ABET-accredited Bachelor’s with 14+ years of experience
• Experience designing and developing computer and network software and databases within application areas
• Experience applying modern software development methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps and working in DoD environments

Responsibilities

• Manage Solution Intent by documenting, maintaining, and validating the technical baseline
• Track traceability by linking mission capabilities to MCEN compliance requirements
• Guide architectures to enable interoperability across enterprise portfolios
• Identify infrastructure, cybersecurity, platforms, and other enablers for future capabilities
• Collaborate with PMs, RTEs, and Enterprise Architects to align solutions with goals
• Support PI and multi-PI roadmaps and backlog refinement
