Job summary

The Archdiocese of Denver invites applications for a Mission Advancement Community Engagement Coordinator. This role works closely with the Assistant Director for Mission Advancement and serves as a bridge between parish staff, clergy, lay faithful, and the community.

It coordinates parish-based outreach, education, and events, and supports the Mission Advancement team with outreach planning, scheduling, and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Ministry, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Pastoral Studies, or related field.
• 2–3 years in parish ministry, outreach, event planning, or nonprofit environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with priests, staff, and ministry leaders and serve as a primary contact for parishes.
• Promote awareness of the organization’s mission, services, and pastoral programs.
• Coordinate parish-based outreach, education, and events with scheduling and follow-up support.
• Assist with outreach planning, event logistics, and team meetings to improve mission efforts.
• Represent and advance the organization’s mission with professionalism and hospitality.
