Job summary

Applied Research Associates (ARA) in Indian Head, MD is seeking a Staff Missile Test Engineer to provide engineering support for Naval Surface Warfare Center's FGT capability on-site.

Responsibilities include software and simulation for FGT, test plans, readiness reviews, and reporting. A BS in CS/CE/AE with 5–7 years of related experience is required; Interim Secret clearance is necessary for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 5–7 years related experience.
• Experience with operating computer-based test systems and GPS simulators.
• Ability to review test data and support software and system performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the FGT software platform and related simulations.
• Prepare test plans, conduct readiness reviews, and document results.
• Write test reports and perform validation under SOPs and procedures.
