Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL seeks a Junior Missile Defense Systems Engineer/Analyst to support Missile Defense System assessments with modeling, simulation, and analysis for MDA C4ISR systems at Redstone Arsenal.

You will perform algorithm testing, data generation, sensor data fusion evaluation, tracking and discrimination support, and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physics.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Experience with computer programming or scripting.
• Data analysis experience.
• Understanding of remote sensing concepts and technologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Torch is seeking a motivated Junior Missile Defense Systems Engineer/Analyst to support Missile Defense System (MDS) assessments in a collaborative, team-based and mentoring environment. This role supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) by providing modeling, simulation, and evidence-based analysis for MDA Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform algorithm testing, data generation, modeling, simulation, and analysis in support of MDA initiatives


• Evaluate radar and electro-optical sensor data fusion methodologies


• Support single- and multi-sensor tracking and target discrimination algorithm assessments
