Job summary

QTEC Aerospace in Huntsville, AL is seeking a SYSTEM SOFTWARE INTEGRATOR to join a multi-contractor team supporting Missile Defense programs. You will help build, integrate, and sustain complex computing systems for government and industry partners.

The role requires a STEM degree with related experience, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, RHEL administration, scripting, and strong cross-functional communication. A DoD SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related work experience; 6 years may substitute for a degree.
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+).
RHEL system administration experience and strong troubleshooting skills.
Ability to script or work at the command line in RHEL and Windows (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
Understanding of software development phases and Agile/DevOps experience.
Networking basics including subnets and routing.
Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate and brief customers.
Self-motivated and customer-oriented.
