Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to lead analysis of future Missile Defense System architectures and to develop and tailor modeling and simulation tools to support architecture assessments.

The role requires 7+ years in missile defense or related DoD programs, deep understanding of MDS architectures, and MATLAB proficiency, with an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain TS/SCI. Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required.

Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec is looking for an amazingly talentedMissile Defense System Architecture Engineerto join our team! In this role you will be involved in leading or participating in analysis of future Missile Defense System (MDS) architectures and concepts, and modeling and simulation (M&S) tool development to support MDS architecture assessment.

Duties

• Assess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats to develop potential architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performance


• Assist with the development of analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools utilizing the DoD High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, assess analysis results, prepare analysis briefs/reports, and provide reviews of analysis products


• Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above to tailor tools to specific analysis plans

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Desired Skills:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance


• Experience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architectures


• Experience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving both directed and kinetic energy weapons and other future concepts


• Experience with HPC Systems, Python, and Git is a plus


• Experience with BMD Benchmark


• Experience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activities


• Ability to perform technology assessment & analysis and provide insight on the utility of potentially useful technologies


• Specialized MDS analysis experience in: threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signatures


• MBSE experience related to missile defense system architectures
