Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced Miscellaneous Metals Foreman to oversee field installation crews on stairs, railings, and other metal projects.

You will manage job-site coordination, quality, safety, materials, and equipment while directing daily field activities. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in miscellaneous metals with foreman or field supervisor background, strong blueprint reading skills, and a working knowledge of AWS D1.1.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of miscellaneous metals experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a Foreman or field supervisor strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and safety documentation.
• Strong practical math skills, including working with angles, degrees, and standard measurements.
• Working knowledge of AWS D1.1.
• Experience with welding processes including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily work for crews installing stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metals.
• Coordinate installation activities with the General Contractor and other site personnel.
• Review blueprints and establish proper layout for installation.
• Plan crew assignments and organize materials and tools for efficient production.
• Check crew certifications and ensure required qualifications are maintained.
• Enforce site safety rules, PPE requirements, and project-specific safety plans.
• Conduct and review Tool-Box Shop Talks and reinforce safe work practices.
• Complete daily field and vehicle inspection reports.
• Monitor the condition and availability of tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
• Act as the on-site safety representative and primary field contact for installation activities.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the project.

Location: Near Georgetown, DE; Sterling, VA; Baltimore, MD; or Washington, DC
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay: Starting at $32.00/hour, higher depending on experience

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Miscellaneous Metals Foreman to oversee field installation crews working on stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metal projects. This position combines hands‑on field leadership with responsibility for job‑site coordination, quality, safety, materials, and equipment.
