Job summary

Endeavor Health Medical Group in Evanston, IL, is offering a Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship within a multispecialty General Surgery division. The fellowship places you among 27 physicians, including surgeons dedicated to minimally invasive techniques and access to robotic da Vinci systems.

Success requires a current medical license, board-eligible status, and completion of a general surgery residency with fellowship training in minimally invasive/foregut/bariatric areas.

• Support residency and fellowship programs overseen by the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.

Northshore Hospitals Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship Position: Minimally Invasive Surgeon Fellowship Endeavor Health Medical Group: Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park and Swedish Hospitals

What you will need:

• Medical License: current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
• Certification: Board Eligible
• Experience: Pursuing Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive/Foregut/Bariatric

Prospective candidates should have completed training in general surgery and subsequent fellowship, with a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence and scholarly activities with achievements in basic or clinical research.

Individuals with a demonstrated ability to develop research programs will be strongly considered.

The candidate will join a team of 27 physicians in the multispecialty Division of General Surgery, specifically with six surgeons dedicated to minimally invasive surgery.

The division is also comprised of fellowship trained surgeons in colorectal, acute care/trauma, and hepatobiliary subspecialties with access to state-of-the-art robotic assisted surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System.

The faculty oversee residency and fellowship programs through the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
