Job summary

New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark seeks Adjunct Faculty in Management Information Systems to teach both undergraduate and graduate MIS courses. A Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited institution is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience in MIS or related field.
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution in the teaching area.
• Submit teaching evaluations and at least two reference letters; include a personal statement.
• Professional engagement related to teaching subject area within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lectures for undergraduate and graduate MIS courses.
• Prepare and grade assignments and exams; manage Canvas LMS.
• Offer regular office hours and meet with students outside class as needed.
• Verify attendance and submit grades to the Registrar at semester end.
