Job summary

Innovative Machine Specialist in Marshfield, WI is seeking a Surface Finishing Technician to transform raw surfaces into premium finishes, operating polishing equipment, selecting abrasives, and ensuring quality and safety standards. You’ll move between stations to meet production targets.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; any additional training in polishing/finishing is a plus.
Prior experience in polishing or finishing preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and steady, precise workmanship.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials as necessary.

Curiosity and adaptability to learn new tools, processes, and technologies.

Responsibilities

Polish and finish a range of materials to reach specified surface quality and appearance.
Examine completed parts for imperfections and confirm they meet internal quality benchmarks.
Use polishing tools and machinery correctly, following all safety procedures.
Keep your workstation clean and well-organized to maintain efficiency and safety.
Coordinate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Immediately alert leadership to equipment issues or safety hazards.
