Job Description

The position provides individual care, instruction, and supervision to residents in a Mental Illness Residential Program. This employee serves in the role of direct caregiver to a group of 3-30 clients, depending on the specific cost center. The employee works directly with the Program Coordinator/Home Coordinator and staff on duty.

Primary Job Functions

• Provides direct client care to the residents of the group home, residential setting, or treatment program.
• Monitors, supervises, and trains residents in daily/independent living skills.
• Provides support services for the home and the residents.
• Transports clients in accordance with schedule.
• Documents accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
• Administers medication and adheres to the Nurse Delegation program.
• Completes required administrative and client‑related paperwork.
• Meets attendance and punctuality expectations, and appropriately monitors and updates timecard.
• Maintains all necessary credentialing requirements.
• Performs any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Successful passing of a background check and drug screening.
