Qualifications

• NATA-BOC certification and current standing.
• Eligibility for FL and TX or NC licensure based on affiliate assignment.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Baseball experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
• Degree in Athletic Training or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the affiliate athletic trainer with prevention and care of athletic injuries daily.
• Facilitate physician appointments and imaging as needed.
• Provide daily game and workout coverage including pre/post treatments and field setup.
• Document injuries and treatments; use MLB EMR system.
• Travel with teams to spring training and minor league locations; support post-season activities if assigned.
• Maintain athletic training room organization, supplies, and cleanliness.
