Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company in Sumter, SC is seeking a production/assembly worker to maintain supplies, operate material handling equipment, and support batch traceability on a fast-paced line.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year manufacturing experience or 2-3 years machine operation experience, with forklift experience preferred. You will work independently and with a team, following safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain supplies of major/minor ingredients and process oil for production.
  • Deliver minor ingredients to 2nd floor for Banbury usage.
  • Follow production schedules and complete Lot History forms accurately.
  • Operate electric walkie and sit-down forklift (preferred).
  • Lift up to 50 lbs frequently; work in hot/cold, noisy environments.
  • Keep work area and equipment clean to prevent contamination.
  • Maintain records for lot and batch traceability.
  • Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Lead.
