Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools is seeking a coach for an Ultimate Frisbee program. Responsibilities include assisting with practices, attending games, and fostering a positive environment for middle school athletes. Candidates should have knowledge and experience in Ultimate Frisbee, along with proven coaching skills. Strong communication and a positive, respectful attitude are essential. This position is stipend-based, not eligible for medical or dental benefits, and operates within the context of the Minnetonka Public School policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running team practices and drills.
• Attend and coach all games.

• Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior.
• Promote respect for all individuals involved in the sport.
• Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and establish and manage activity penalties for breach of such standards by individual students.
• Enforce all rules of the Minnesota State High School League, USA Ultimate, and Minnetonka Public School Policies as they pertain to the respective sport.
• Promote respect for officials, press, opposing coaches, visiting teams, parents, fans, students, athletes, fellow coaches, and administrators.

Primary Objective of Positions

Assist in providing training and guidance to middle school athletes in an Ultimate Frisbee program.

Assignment

• Practices on Monday – Wednesday afternoons beginning 4/7/2026
• Games on Sundays beginning 4/13/26
• State Tournament 5/17 and 5/18/26

Wages

Stipend. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.

Job Responsibilities

• Attend and coach all games.
• Help all players to develop to their full potential.

• Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and establish and manage activity penalties for breach of such standards by individual students.
