Job summary

Tech Mirrors is looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer located in Minneapolis, MN. This role will focus on architecting and implementing large-scale data solutions on AWS while leading data migration efforts from on-premises to AWS.

The ideal candidate must have over 7 years of cloud engineering experience and will collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient data transfer and compliance with AWS standards.

The role is contract-based for over 6 months and requires strong hands-on experience with AWS DataSync and related services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Proven experience migrating terabytes to petabytes of data from on-premises to AWS.
• Strong understanding of IAM, encryption (KMS), and AWS security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AWS data storage architectures for large datasets.
• Lead on-premises to AWS cloud data migration initiatives.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
