Job summary

Renovation Church is seeking a Director to oversee Children's, Youth, and Adult Ministries in the north Minneapolis metro area. You will provide strategic oversight to staff, build an arch of discipleship from birth through adulthood, and ensure effective communication with the Creative Team to serve the broader church body.

The role reports to the Executive Director and involves regular staff meetings, accountability, and leadership development within a faith-driven community.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and vision to Children’s, Youth, and Adult Ministry staff; creating an arch of discipleship from birth – adulthood
• Meet regularly with the Children’s, Youth, and Adult Ministries staff (currently, but not limited to; Children’s Pastor, Middle School Pastor, High School Pastor, Pastor of House Churches, Renovation U Pastor, Counseling Pastor, Missions Pastor), developing each in their specific roles and holding them accountable to tasks
• Visit all ministries under your care regularly to provide feedback for improvement
• Partner Ministry staff with the Creative Team to provide excellent communication materials to the broader church
• Report strengths and weaknesses of the ministry to the Executive Director; attend monthly staff meetings and weekly staff prayer meetings

Over the past four years, Renovation Church has grown from a church of 500 to over 3,000 people and moving to multiple locations in the north metro of Minnesota. Renovation Church is a Bible-believing church affiliated with Converge.

What you'll do

Oversee development of Children's, Youth, and Adult Ministries

• Provide strategic oversight and vision to Children’s, Youth, and Adult Ministry staff; creating an arch of discipleship from birth – adulthood


• Meet regularly with the Children’s, Youth, and Adult Ministries staff (currently, but not limited to; Children’s Pastor, Middle School Pastor, High School Pastor, Pastor of House Churches, Renovation U Pastor, Counseling Pastor, Missions Pastor), developing each in their specific roles and holding them accountable to tasks


• Visit all ministries under your care regularly to provide feedback for improvement


• Partner Ministry staff with the Creative Team to provide excellent communication materials to the broader church

Report Directly to the Executive Director

• Meet regularly with the Executive Director to report strengths and weaknesses of the ministry, to be held accountable for job responsibilities, and also to better develop personal leadership.


• Attend monthly staff meetings and weekly staff prayer meetings.
