Ledcor Group is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support mining operations in Nevada and Idaho. You will service a fleet of haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators, diagnosing and repairing to keep critical equipment running safely and efficiently.

The role requires 2–4 years of hands-on heavy equipment repair experience, knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, and ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair.
• Trade certification or technical training is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.
• Experience with Cat, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment strongly preferred.
• MSHA Part 48 (metal/non‑metal) required.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy mining equipment including haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
• Repair and replace components to OEM standards, with a focus on Cat, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment.
• Complete service records and communicate equipment status to operations teams.
• Work safely with tools and equipment, following all site safety procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanics and operations to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime.
