Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist or Geochemist to support geochemistry studies for mining clients. The role reports to an office in Salt Lake City, Denver or Phoenix, with travel to remote sites possible and some projects requiring field visits.

You will work with a senior geochemist to evaluate groundwater geochemistry and develop models, supporting international mining projects within the team. This position emphasizes technical writing and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• MS in geochemistry, hydrogeology, geology or related discipline required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in aqueous geochemistry.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Professional license (PG) or ability to obtain preferred.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support geochemical evaluations of groundwater in mining projects.
• Assist geochemical and hydrogeological modeling using listed software.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and communicate findings.
