Turner Staffing Group is seeking an Excavator Operator for a mining project in Bowmansville, PA. Operate hydraulic excavators with precision to support mining activities and production targets on site.

The role requires prior excavator experience in mining or heavy construction, strong safety compliance, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Training and on-site supervision will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating hydraulic excavators in a mining or heavy construction environment is required.
• Proficiency in operating excavators with precision and accuracy.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and depth perception.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic excavators with precision and efficiency to excavate, load, and transport materials on site.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment.
• Move, load, and unload materials such as overburden, ore, and waste rock.
• Support mining operations by excavating trenches, stockpiling materials, and shaping terrain.
• Maintain accuracy in material handling and stockpiling by grade.
• Report any mechanical issues or equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.
