Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a dozer in a mining, quarry, or heavy civil environment.
• Understanding of grading, material handling, and production goals.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• MSHA certification preferred or may be required prior to start.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
• Strong situational awareness and safety commitment.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bulldozer to push, spread, and grade overburden, ore, or aggregate material.
• Maintain production rates while minimizing rework and material loss.
• Follow proper dozing techniques to maximize efficiency and equipment longevity.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions.
• Follow MSHA site safety policies and regulations.
• Communicate with haul truck drivers, dispatch, and supervisors.
• Maintain clean work areas, haul roads and stockpiles; assist with general production support.
