Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a dozer in a mining, quarry, or heavy civil environment.
• Strong grading and material handling understanding with production goals.
• Valid driver's license required (MSHA certification preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate a bulldozer to push, spread, and grade overburden, ore, or aggregate material
• Maintain consistent production rates while minimizing rework and material loss
• Ensure proper dozing techniques to maximize efficiency and equipment longevity
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment
• Identify and report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions
• Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations
• Communicate effectively with haul truck drivers, dispatch, and supervisors
• Maintain clean work areas, haul roads, and stockpiles, and assist with general production support as needed
