Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Mining Construction Quality Assurance Manager to monitor onsite construction for a major EPCM mining project. This full-time onsite role is based in the United States with preference for Nevada, Utah, Alaska or proximity to mining sites; travel per diem is provided for non-locals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on quality management experience in active mining settings.
• Experience across open pit and underground mine development projects.
• MSHA certification is required.
• Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Assurance plan.
• Ensure compliance with client standards and contractual obligations.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across project teams.
• Oversee QA activities for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, process, and earthworks.
• Verify construction activities meet drawings, specifications, standards, and procedures.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and testing laboratories.
• Review and approve inspection reports, test results, quality dossiers, and as-built documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the mining EPCM practice.
