Job summary

Gate Petroleum Company is currently accepting applications for a Mini Tanker Driver responsible for hazmat fuel deliveries to specified locations. The role requires DOT compliance, a valid Class B license with Tank and Hazmat endorsements, and the ability to document data accurately while maintaining excellent customer service.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the physical demands of loading/unloading with up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
• Must pass a DOT drug test when requested.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record for 3 years.
• Minimum Class B license with Tank and Hazmat Endorsements.
• One year of mini tanker driving experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical report.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hazmat fuels to designated locations safely and on time.
• Verify correct tank and load into appropriate compartment.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and documentation requirements for Hazmat drivers.
• Perform safety inspections of equipment before, during, and after shifts.
• Route deliveries using maps or GPS and communicate route changes as needed.
