Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating mini excavators on commercial construction projects.
• Experience around underground utilities and trenching operations.
• Ability to read construction plans and site layouts.

Responsibilities

• Operate mini excavators and related heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and site prep for plumbing and utility installations.
• Assist crews with installing underground water, sewer, storm drain, and utility systems.
• Read and interpret site plans, utility markings, grades, and project specs.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will safely and efficiently operate mini excavators and related heavy equipment on large-scale commercial plumbing and utility projects. This position plays a critical role in trenching, excavation, site preparation, and underground utility installation. Qualifications / Education / Work Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating mini excavators in commercial construction, utility, or plumbing projects.
• Experience working around underground utilities and trenching operations.
• Ability to read construction plans and site layouts.
• Strong understanding of excavation safety and trench protection requirements.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
