Job summary

The Betsy – South Beach, a premier boutique hotel on Ocean Drive, seeks a Mini Bar Attendant for the guest rooms. You will maintain clean, stocked minibar units, rotate products, and ensure accuracy of inventory while delivering courteous service.

We value professional, discreet staff with English proficiency, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Part-time schedule with on-site work at South Beach location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must meet Food Handler and Responsible Vendor training and certification requirements.
• Must have good computer skills and basic math skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, professional, efficient, discreet and trustworthy.
• Must have the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to walk or stand for long periods.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must lift, pull or push over 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Creates mini bar checks and maintains a mini bar register.
• Stocks and replaces missing items; inspect, move and clean mini bars.
• Maintains daily mini bar stock worksheet.
• Replenishes mini bar items in guest rooms.
• Maintains mini bar pantry with par stock, stacking and cleanliness.
• Ensures products are not expired and removes expired items.
• Maintains, organizes, stocks and cleans assigned mini bar carts.
• Reports broken or malfunctioning mini bars and carts to Engineering.
• Requisitions mini bar products from warehouse and stores them.
• Maintains high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Follows safety and standard operating procedures.
• Ensures rotation of all mini-bar products.
• Completes inventory in assigned storerooms.
• Ensures mini bar menus are present and in good condition.
• Completes refill reports accurately.
• Reports all mini bar concerns to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Mini Bar Attendants provide guests with a clean, fully-stocked and well-maintained mini bar. They ensure that mini bar items are systematically inventoried and rotated to ensure that the products are of excellent quality.

Responsibilities and Duties Include but Not Limited to the Following:

• Creates checks and maintains a mini bar register.
• Stocks and replaces missing items, inspect, move and clean the mini bars in accordance with departmental procedures and policies.
• Maintains, tracks and completes daily worksheet of mini bar stock.
• Replenishes mini bar items in guest rooms.
• Maintains the mini bar pantry in terms of par stock, stacking and cleanliness.
• Ensures that the products in the mini bar are not expired and take the proper procedure to remove those products as necessary.
• Maintains, organizes, stocks and cleans assigned mini bar carts.
• Reports broken or malfunctioning mini bars and carts to Engineering for repairs.
• Requisitions mini bar products as needed, obtains stock from warehouse and stores it in the assigned storerooms.
• Maintains the highest level of customer service and displays professionalism at all times.
• Follows all required safety and standard operating procedures.
• Ensures the rotation of all mini-bar products.
• Properly complete, maintain and track inventory in assigned storerooms.
• Ensures that mini bar menus are present and in good condition.
• Completes refill reports accurately.
• Reports all mini bar concerns to management including any guest issues.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
