Florida Canyon Mining, Inc. is seeking a dependable Utility Technician to support maintenance across the mine, facilities, and crushing plant, performing repairs and basic plumbing while keeping records.

You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor, contribute to safety and MSHA compliance, and handle fixed assets with an emphasis on reliability. This role requires teamwork, physical fitness, and the ability to operate or learn mobile equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years’ experience in a construction or mining environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and plumbing is required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment is required.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to wear a respirator for extended periods.
• Must have mobile equipment experience (forklift/telehandler/skid steer/excavator).
• Willing to work in a mine/plant setting with extreme temperatures and conditions.

Responsabilités

• Perform day to day activities of fixed maintenance assets including water supply systems and the crushing plant.
• General cleanliness of assigned equipment.
• Repair and basic plumbing tasks as assigned.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and maintain maintenance records.
• Complete assigned work safely and in accordance with MSHA standards.
