Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years driving and heavy equipment operation.
• Clean DMV with print-out.
• Class A driver’s license with a manual endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Mines raw material at pit using heavy equipment in a safe manner.
• Ensures proper quality of clay mined.
• Records quantity mined and hours of operation.
• Hauls ore from pit to plant.
• Maintains roads and berms; dust control.
• Follows safety policies and reports abnormalities.
• Completes Pre-Shift and workplace examinations.
