Job summary

Coeur Mining, Inc. is seeking a Mine Engineering Supervisor in Lovelock, NV to lead the mine engineering function, maintain the integrity of the life-of-mine plan, and drive safe and cost-effective planning across horizons.

The role requires hands-on field engagement and senior technical input for operations decisions. You will oversee drill and blast design, ground control, and survey, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with operations, maintenance, and geology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of ten years of progressive mine engineering experience, including at least three years supervising technical staff.
  • Professional Engineer registration or an equivalent professional designation.
  • Ownership of a mine plan at multiple horizons, from short-range planning through annual budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the mine engineering function and ensure the integrity of the mine plan across horizons (life-of-mine, annual budget, quarterly forecast, short-range plans).
  • Provide technical oversight of drill and blast design, ground control, and survey; ensure safe, achievable, cost-effective plans.
  • Direct reconciliation between plan and actual metrics and update standards and procedures accordingly.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the mine engineering team and manage departmental resources and budgets.
