Provide short-term individual and group counseling and outreach to students who seek services with our center with concentration in disordered eating and/or body image difficulties. Outreach activities may include presentations to campus partners, supervision and training of social work / psychology interns and post-doctoral psychology practicum students, and development of training materials used within the center.
Reviews client record to determine the progress, effectiveness, and appropriateness of treatment services offered. Maintains current, accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal law, professional ethics, and Counseling and Mental Health Center, CMHC, policies. Coordinates referrals between CMHC and university or community service providers.
Provide clinical consultation to others on an as-needed basis and seeks consultation when appropriate. Provide urgent care services as necessary to students.
Provide clinical training and supervision to social work and psychology interns, as well as pre-doctoral psychology practicum students.
May be assigned other relevant duties as applicable.

LPC/LCSW: $78,000 + depending on qualifications
Psychologist: $90,000 + depending on qualifications
Regular staff who have been employed in their current position for the last six continuous months are eligible for openings being recruited for through University-Wide or Open Recruiting, to include both promotional opportunities and lateral transfers. Staff who are promotion/transfer eligible may apply for positions without supervisor approval.
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
A criminal history background check will be required for finalist(s) under consideration for this position.
