Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
• 3+ years (level 3) or 5+ years (level 4) in systems engineering.
• Experience in software quality testing and validation.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent.
• Willingness to relocate to Schriever AFB area if not within commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on satellite operation and maintenance.
• Advise customers on ground command and control system operations.
• Participate in technical meetings, author database, and software change requests.
• Perform ground computer system software and database testing.
• Author, maintain, review, and support satellite operations procedures; configure and run simulations for validation.
• Conduct technical analyses and studies with recommendations.
• Perform satellite data trending and analysis to determine spacecraft performance.
• Provide problem solving and support other engineers in a team environment.
